Built by engineers who got paged one too many times
Opsphere was born from a 3am incident that should have taken 2 minutes to resolve — and took 4 hours. We decided to fix that problem, permanently.
OUR STORY
We were the on-call engineers
Opsphere was founded in 2022 by a team of infrastructure engineers, ML researchers, and product builders who shared a common frustration: modern cloud infrastructure had become genuinely complex, but the tools for operating it had not kept pace.
We had each spent years at high-growth companies — managing hundreds of services across multi-cloud environments, fighting alert storms with Slack integrations and custom scripts, and patching together monitoring stacks that cost more than they saved.
The tools we had were built for a world where a 'big' deployment was 10 servers. We live in a world of 10,000 ephemeral containers. We built Opsphere for that world.
We started with a simple thesis: if an experienced SRE can look at a set of signals and identify the root cause in minutes, a well-designed AI system should be able to do the same — at machine-speed, across every service, all the time.
Company Timeline
2021 The incident that started everything
A cascading failure at a late-stage startup took 8 engineers 4 hours to resolve — a problem Opsphere later solved in 8 minutes in a test replay.
2022 Company founded
Three co-founders, one shared conviction. Raised $2.8M pre-seed to build the AI observability platform they wished had existed.
2023 Private beta with 12 design partners
Worked in lockstep with a dozen engineering teams across Series A–C SaaS companies to validate the core AI correlation engine.
2024 Public launch — 200+ teams in 60 days
Launched Opsphere 1.0. Reached 200 active teams within 60 days. Cursor AI integration shipped. $11M Series A closed.
2025 Enterprise tier & global expansion
Launched Enterprise with SOC 2 Type II, SSO, and dedicated support. Expanded to 500+ teams across 30 countries.
OUR VISION
A world where engineering teams never lose sleep to infrastructure
We're building toward a future where software reliability is a solved problem — where AI systems handle the operational complexity of modern infrastructure, so human engineers can focus on building things that matter.
AI-First, Always
Every product decision is evaluated through one lens: does this let the AI handle more, so your team handles less? We're not adding AI to a legacy product — we're building natively for it.
Obsessively Accurate
We'd rather surface one high-confidence insight than ten guesses. Our AI models are trained and validated against real production incidents across hundreds of infrastructure stacks.
Human-Centered Automation
Opsphere augments your engineers — it doesn't replace their judgment. We believe the best systems keep humans in command and give them better information to act on.
THE TEAM
Built by people who've lived your problems
We come from infrastructure roles at Stripe, AWS, Vercel, and Cloudflare. We know what a 3am outage feels like. We built the tool we needed.

José Julián Ariza
CEO & CTO
Former Cloud Architect and DevSecOps leader with 20+ years of experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems at scale. Having worked across cloud platforms, Kubernetes, observability, automation, and AI, he repeatedly faced the same challenge: critical operational knowledge was scattered across dozens of tools and teams. He founded Opsphere to solve that problem, combining Operational Intelligence, DevSecOps, and AI into a single platform that helps engineering organizations understand, operate, and evolve complex systems.

Jesús Hernández Moreno
AI Senior Developer
Product-focused AI engineer with 10+ years building software that helps teams make sense of complex operational data. He works on how Opsphere's AI capabilities are implemented and delivered in the product — turning platform intelligence into practical, reliable experiences for engineering teams. Jesús partners closely with platform and product engineering to design retrieval flows, guardrails, and tool interfaces that keep AI-assisted operations accurate under real production constraints.

Luis Iglesias
Web Designer
Luis brings a sharp eye for visual systems and UI craft to Opsphere. With a background in web design and digital product interfaces, he shapes the look and feel of everything users see — from landing pages to component libraries. He works at the intersection of brand, usability, and engineering, ensuring Opsphere's platform is as compelling to use as it is powerful. His work keeps the public site, marketing surfaces, and product UI coherent as the platform evolves.
